Get to Know the WordCamp Speakers: Rebecca Haden!

Rebecca Haden has been writing for the web since the 20th century, and has been an SEO professional for a decade. Her M.A. in Linguistics makes analysis of the role of language in SEO a natural fit.

Her company, Haden Interactive, has been building, optimizing, and managing WordPress websites since 2009. Primarily an SEO company focusing on the health and wellness space, Haden Interactive serves clients on four continents.

Get to Know the WordCamp Speakers: Kat Slump

Kat Slump is a rising senior at the University of Nebraska at Omaha where she is pursuing a degree in IT Innovation.
Kat has had experiences in a variety of areas — from development to marketing to design — interning at Interface School, Flywheel and Apple. In her spare time, Kat loves playing with her kitten, Swift, who happens to be named after her favorite programming language. She also has a love for fashion and blogging. Adam W. Warner discovered the world of WordPress in 2005 and has been working within the community ever since. To feed his entrepreneurial spirit, he founded several WordPress-focused businesses that provide education, plugins and consulting services for online business owners. He is a true product evangelist for WordPress in spirit and personality, and that also happens to be his job title at SiteLock. In addition to WordPress, Adam is passionate about his family, robots and of course, life, the universe and everything.

Kevin Moser is currently the Director of Digital Communications for Nebraska’s 150th Anniversary. He graduated from the University of Nebraska – Lincoln with a degree in psychology but has built websites for more than 12 years now. Work tends to dominate Kevin’s life, but when he has free time he enjoys photography, bicycling, and writing.

Andy thrives on discovery. From the beginning of his web dev career, he has focused on discovering what makes the web and the world tick. Through his diverse background of branding, marketing, web development, and currently team management, Andy has developed a knack for seeing opportunity in unknown spaces. At night, Andy can be found throwing up a WordPress website for a family member, friend, or local non-profit. During the day, Andy and his team at A2 Hosting work to create solutions that make the WordPress hosting experience easier, safer, and more robust for their customers and the community at large. Andy is active in both WordCamps and local WordPress meetups in the Detroit and Ann Arbor area.

Meet the WordCamp Omaha Speakers: Rob Ruiz

I have been doing web design for over 10 years now; WordPress user for four years. Developing plugins for a little over a year. I also do a lot of graphic design, animation and UI/UX design. I’ve also been a DJ for about 15 years and I teach multiple music-tech-related topics at Guitar Center. I own a business called Bizzle Designs, which specializes in WordPress-based websites for small-to-medium-sized businesses of all kinds.

Meet the WordCamp Omaha Speakers: Josepha Haden

Josepha comes from a long line of writers and was raised to be a life-long learner. She has a passion for language and storycrafting, a skill she practices on starsandthemoon.com. Josepha has over a decade of experience using SEO, data analysis, and content marketing to bring success and visibility to clients all over the world. Since 2010, she’s been working in her hometown of Kansas City to increase digital literacy and get more women in technology. Josepha works at Automattic as a community organizer for the WordPress open source project and can be found on Twitter as @josephahaden.
